Vistra, the Singapore-based fund services provider, has appointed Abdel Hmitti as managing director and global head of funds. He reports to William Douglas, Vistra’s chief commercial officer, and intends to relocate to the U.S. later this year. Hmitti will lead Vistra’s funds business, overseeing the teams responsible for commercial, relationship management, product development, and digital solutions. He joins from State Street, where he was most recently head of private markets in EMEA.
