New chair at CIBC Mellon

Roman Dubczak, deputy chair of CIBC Capital Markets, has been named chair of the board of directors for both CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services Company and CIBC Mellon Trust Company. He replaces Dan Smith, who steps down as chair of both boards. Dubczak is responsible for senior client relationships and strategy at CIBC Capital Markets. In late 2022 Mal Cullen was appointed CEO of CIBC Mellon, replacing Steven Wolff, who retired after six years of leadership. During Wolff’s tenure, CIBC Mellon grew to >CAD2.3trn (USD1.7trn) AuA.
