Further changes at HSBC

Further changes at HSBC’s securities business, where Sébastien Danloy continues to lead as interim global head of securities services.

Rafael Moral, regional head of securities services of Asia-Pacific & MENAT, will expand his remit as global head of country management for securities services. Brendan Matthews, US country head and Americas COO for securities services, will report to Moral.

Tony McDonnell will take on the role of head of Continental Europe & Offshore for securities services, in addition to his responsibilities as global head of alternatives. Country heads Daniel Brueckner (Germany), John Weedle (Ireland, Bermuda and Guernsey), and Olivier Laurent (France), will now report to McDonnell. Emanuele Vignoli, CEO Luxembourg, will be part of McDonnell’s management structure. McDonnell will continue to report Danloy, to with a line into Marwan Dagher, head of markets & securities services, Continental Europe.

John Duffy’s responsibilities will also be expanded. He will become UK country head for securities services in addition to his role as head of COO transformation & strategic delivery lead. He will continue reporting functionally to Gina Slotosch, securities services COO.
