Teschner to retire from BNY Mellon

Charles Teschner, co-CEO of BNY Mellon’s data & platform solutions business, is to retire at the end of October. Teschner, who joined in 2019 from BCG, was instrumental in advancing the bank’s data strategy and implementation. Mark McKeon, his co-CEO, will continue in that role.

In a statement, BNY Mellon said: “BNY Mellon thanks Charles for all his contributions to the firm, and in particular the data and platform solutions business. Some of his key contributions include instilling a data-driven culture for BNY Mellon’s business, and launching Data Vault, the firm’s cloud-based data management platform that enables clients to transform and orient toward a more data-focused operating model.”
