BNY Mellon adds senior talent to global tax team

Liam Stanbridge has joined BNY Mellon as head of global tax. In this role, Stanbridge will focus on leading client servicing tax solutions for institutional clients and leading the transformation and digitisation of the bank’s tax services offering. He will partner closely with BNY Mellon’s new head of tax product development, Stuart Winny, who has joined from Citi. Winny reports to Karen Price, global head of custody product development.

Stanbridge has replaced Mariano Giralt, who will continue in his role as branch manager of BNY Mellon SA/NV Madrid and head of EMEA Digital. Stanbridge reports to Caroline Butler, global head of custody, tax & network. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Stanbridge was head of EMEA tax in State Street’s global services business.
