BNY Mellon hires Fangfang Chen as head of Asia Pacific

BNY Mellon has appointed Fangfang Chen as head of Asia Pacific and Asia Pacific head of asset servicing and digital. She will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Hani Kablawi, head of international, and James Slater, head of asset servicing client coverage and front office solutions. She succeeds David Cruikshank, who is retiring. Rohan Singh, who was Asia Pacific head of asset servicing, has taken on a new global role as head of asset owners. Chen spent 12 years at State Street, most recently as COO for Asia Pacific. She joins from Algorand Foundation, a financial technology start-up.
