Citi has appointed Chay Thurlow as global head of custody operations. Based in London, he reports to Brian Ovaert, global head of securities services & issuer services operations. He joins from Deutsche Bank, where he spent more than 10 years, most recently as the head of securities and trust & agency operations. He fills the role made vacant when Sam Riley left in late 2019 to join Clearstream.
