Apex has been mandated to provide fund services to Frontera Capital Group Limited, a UAE-based fixed income investment firm. Apex will provide Frontera with AIFM, administration, custody and corporate services. Frontera is currently raising USD400m for a new Luxembourg fund, with final close expected towards the end of Q1 2021.

Clearstream, Deutsche Börse’s post-trade services provider, has mandated BNP Paribas Securities Services to provide local sub-custody services in Australia and New Zealand. BP2S already provides local clearing and custody to Clearstream across the Euronext and Turkish markets.

Glenmede Investment Management L.P., a U.S.-based money manager with USD11bn AuM, has appointed State Street to provide outsourced non-US equity trading and middle office services for GIM’s international equity strategy. This mandate adds to the recently extended investment servicing relationship covering custody, accounting, fund administration and transfer agency solutions for the Glenmede Funds.
GPP adds SGSS to global settlement agent network
GPP, the UK-based clearing, institutional custody and wealth solutions firm, has appointed Société Générale Securities Services, through its subsidiary PAREL, as a settlement agent for its clearing business. The deal will see the SGSS join GPP’s settlement infrastructure alongside GPP’s other agents and its own direct Crest participation.

Vuna Partners has been seeded by Thuso Incubation Partners, a black-majority-owned private equity incubator.
