Slavin moves to new ETF role at BNY

BNY has appointed Ben Slavin to the newly created role of industry head of ETFs, where he will work across the firm to shape priorities and drive alignment with the firm’s global enterprise ETF commercial strategy. BNY created this role to accelerate continued growth in the ETF sector. BNY currently services >USD3trn in ETF assets, in addition to offering its own proprietary suite of ETFs with >USD9.7bn AuM.

Slavin, who joined BNY in 2020, was previously global head of ETFs for the asset servicing business. He will report to Ed Fandrey, global head of sales and client coverage, taking on a firmwide ETFs remit working across sales, service, and client leadership teams.
