State Street and Daiwa Institute of Research have formed a partnership covering fund accounting solutions for investment trust management companies. State Street will implement FAIMS, the investment trust accounting system owned by DIR, for fund accounting solutions in Japan to support global clients. Earlier this year, State Street agreed with Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. to acquire Mizuho’s global custody and related businesses outside Japan.
