Laurent Marochini has been appointed as CEO of Standard Chartered’s new entity in Luxembourg, which will act as its EU entry point for the provision of crypto and digital asset custody services to EU clients, following implementation of MiCA regulation. Marochini joins from Société Générale where his last held position was head of innovation.

SEI has launched depositary services for Luxembourg alternative investment funds. SEI provides depositary services to more than 430 funds from other fund centres. SEI claims to be the largest fund administrator for private market funds in Luxembourg that are managed by a U.S. firm, and the largest private credit fund administrator by assets globally.

Coller Capital, an investor in the secondary market for private assets, has selected Equity Trustees to be the responsible entity (trustee) of its new fund, the Coller Private Equity Secondaries Fund. The fund is an Australian managed investment scheme available to both qualified retail and wholesale investors.
