BNP Paribas been awarded a mandate from Allianz UK to provide a range of asset services in the UK, including global custody, agency securities lending, auto FX, CLS and cash services. The onboarding process has now been completed. This mandate builds on the existing partnership with Allianz in core markets including Germany, Italy and Belgium.

BNP Paribas’ securities services business has consolidated its global client development and territory management divisions under Alessandro Gioffreda. Additionally, Alvaro Camuñas has been appointed as vice chairman of securities services, effective immediately. Camuñas will maintain his sponsorship of a number of strategic clients.

BNY has hired Tom Zita as senior director, alternatives client coverage. He reports to Dylan Curley, client coverage global head of alternatives for the asset servicing business. Zita was previously at Northern Trust.

Aztec Group has appointed Marcia Rothschild as European desk head within its U.S. commercial team. She joins Aztec from FundBank, where she was senior managing director, head of business development and client relations.  Previously, she spent four years at State Street as head of Latin America and the Caribbean.
