FundGuard, the provider of a cloud-native SaaS investment accounting platform, has opened a London office. It has also appointed Antony Slee as sales director and Ravi Patel as sales engineering director to lead local commercial initiatives. Both Citi and State Street are investors in FundGuard.

AccessFintech, the provider of real time data and insights across financial markets, has appointed Gayatri Raman as president and COO, and a member of the AccessFintech board. In this role, Raman will report to co-founder and CEO Roy Saadon. She joins from Clearwater Analytics, where she was president of Europe and Asia.

Citi China has received approval from the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) and International Energy Exchange (INE) to act as a futures margin depository bank (FMDB) for its QFI clients to trade commodity futures on the SHFE and INE. Citi says it is the first American bank to receive this approval.
