Confluence Technologies, a technology solutions provider for the investment management and administration industry, has agreed to acquire Investment Metrics for USD500m. Investment Metrics is a provider of investment data, performance, analytics and research software solutions for institutional investors and advisors. Investment Metrics services more than 400 clients across 30 countries, representing over USD14trn in AuA.

SeaFort Capital, a Canadian private equity firm, has selected SS&C to support its SeaFort Capital Fund II. The new fund will invest in Canadian lower-mid-market core industrial and business services sectors. SS&C will provide front-to-back support, including fund administration, reporting, investor and tax services.

Rob Childs has joined CSC Global Financial Markets as a business development director in its London office. Childs (previously Helszajn) joins from Prescient, where he was head of business development. CSC recently acquired PEF Services in the U.S., as well as expanding its product range in Ireland and Luxembourg.

Apex has been appointed to provide fund administration and accounting services to Marlin Capital Partners, headquartered in Nassau. Apex, and its subsidiary Throgmorton, will provide outsourced ManCo, middle office, and fund administration services. The appointment comes ahead of the launch of Marlin’s Dauntless Fund, which will focus on arbitrage opportunities within the digital asset space.
