HSBC has chosen ETF and index data provider Ultumus to be its portfolio composition file (PCF) solution provider. Ultumus will be responsible for performing PCF creation and distribution for HSBC’s ETF clients globally. The first clients will be switched to the Ultumus platform in Q4 with the rest being completed in early 2021.

Apex Group, the Bermuda-based fund services provider, has been appointed to provide middle office solutions to Tabula Investment Management Limited. Tabula, a UK-based passive fixed income manager, launched a European ETF platform in 2018, and recently announced the addition of three sub-funds, with HSBC acting as administrator for all six funds on the platform.
