Citi makes European management changes

Citi has announced some senior management changes in Europe:

Alex Todd has been appointed head of securities services for Europe. He will report to Maria Cantillon, EMEA head of securities services sales, Kristen Braden, and Bryan Murphy, global head of bank sales. He will continue in his role as EMEA head of bank sales. He joined Citi in 2008.

Armanda Mago will assume responsibility for securities services for Citibank Europe Plc (CEP). She will be responsible for the management of the business end-to-end with direct accountability for CEP custody, reporting to Cecilia Ronan CEO of Citibank Europe Plc, and Reto Faber, EMEA head of custody. Mago has been at Citi for 12 years, most recently as DCC head for Ireland.

Cilian Ó Gógáin has been appointed head of securities services for Ireland, reporting to Maria Cantillon and Cecilia Ronan, CEO of Citibank Europe Plc and Ireland country head. He will also take responsibility for the regulatory PCF role (PCF 34) for fund accounting which covers both Ireland and Luxembourg, and will report to Armanda Mago in this regulatory capacity. Ó Gógáin has been at Citi for 22 years, most recently serving as the global CAO for the custody & fund services business and the global client coverage organisation.

Claire O’Brien has joined Citi in Ireland as head of offshore sales, based in Dublin. She joins from RBC where she was a director of client coverage for Investor and Treasury Services. O’Brien will report to Maria Cantillon and locally to Cilian Ó Gógáin.
